Michelle Fawbush - Soho House

I met the lovely Michelle Fawbush while speaking on a panel about fashion and street style at Soho House, the first in a series called Fashion for Breakfast that was sponsered by Harpers Bazaar. Michelle, an editor at the magazine was in town to moderate and lead the conversation.

I love this Mansur Graviel bucket bag with the peep of red.

Also these Dannijo earrings are the cats pajamas!

Trend Spotting - Hats

Ever since Pharell broke the intenet with his big ol' hat at the Grammies I've been noticing lot's of chapeus around town. Here are three examples of ladies who are making it work.

Go big like stylist Brandy Kraft with her babe Harvey Lars.  Her wide brim hat looks increible with the long dress and I love the swaddling blanket she has draped over her adorable babe Harvey Lars.

Try a fedora like knockout Eva of Monika Dixon PR. She looks divine here in this fringey top and grey topper. Just remember, with a fedora size matters, anything too small and you run the risk of looking like you're stepping out in Wrigleyville. Eva's hat is just right.

Go for a throw back 90's look like the beautiful Aramide Esubi of the blog The Sassy Peach. I spotted her across from the iconic Chicago Theatre looking lovely in a smaller brimmed black hat, I love how it showcases her major bangs.

Jacey Duprie - Damsel in Dior

I had the pleasure of meeting Jacey Duprie the woman behind the beautiful & very cool blog Damsel in Dior. She was the keynote speaker at a blogger brunch co-hosted with Fashionaholic today at the Silversmith Hotel.

Look for more street style from the event right here on the blog throughout the week.

Kristen Gipson at Lollapalooza

Was such a pleasure to meet the lovely Kristen Gipson, owner of for RSVP gallery, jewelery designer and all around style maven at Lollapalooza this weekend.

She's wearing a crazy cool "100" necklace from her soon to be launched line Kdia. She's also sporting a top by Azeeza.

It's actually raining pretty hard in these photos, but despite it all Kristen manages to look fresh as a dasiy. The only evidence of the downpour and surrounding muck are a few raindrops on her chanel and a bit of mud on her Celine kicks (see her instagram for what happens moments later :)

Lollapalooza 2014 Style Coverage on Elle

So thrilled to have my Lollapalooza style coverage featured on Elle.com again this year! Also who's a better cover girl than Yolanda Trejo of Salon Blue (AKA the amazing woman that cuts and colors my hair ) as the cover. We randomly ran into eachother at Lorde! Check out all the fly ladies here.

The Ladies of Lollapalooza 2014 Part 1

The sun has set on yet another Lollapalooza 2014. We were at the fest all three days and captured some pretty incredible style, so without further ado I give you the ladies of Lollapalooza 2014 part one. Look for part two tomorrow!!!

This pretty much sums up the whole weeekend. Music IS the answer.

Laura Gray looks fly in this Asos Jacket lounging on the prefered mode of VIP travel at a festival that  spans more than a mile between the two main stages.
As always my girl Azeeza looks GORGEOUS in her own label. Also that Python PS1 aint bad either.

Chelsey Carter looked so cool when I ran into her at Lorde.

This woman looks flawless even in the rain.

Was great meeting the ladies behind the rad blog Young Girl Party

This little lady looks lovely in her parakeet romper and Chanel rain booties.

The Ladies of Lollapalooza 2014 Part 2

The style parade from this weekends Lollapalooza Music Festival continues on the blog with Part 2.

A homemade crown, eyeball and a pyrmaid in the background. Can you say illuminati?!

I was really sad to read the report that Devonte Hynes (aka Blood Orange) and his beautiful girlfriend Samantha Urbani (fly girl pictured above) were assaulted by Lollapalooza security on Friday at the fest. Britt Julious reports more on the situation here.

Cardiknox performed on Sunday.

This white wrap looks beautiful on this lovely lady.

Purple hair don't care.

Love randomly running into Sheyessa B Rosado at the festival again this year, looking fly in a vintage Dior hat.

This animal print jumpsuit is everything! Worn by the amazing Hannah Hooper of Grouplove.

Was great spending some QT with this babe. Jena from ChiCityFashion looks rad here in Asos.

Noelle Scaggs of the band Fitz and the Tantrums looks MAJOR here in this incrdible peice by Seth Damm.

The Ladies (and Gentleman) of Lollapalooza 2014 Part 3

I love this woman's style, so simple and chic. One of my favorites of the fest.

Amelia Eaton of the Chicago Life Blog looks festival perfect here in Asos.

Mega nail art.

Betty Who killed at the Gilt City Party on Saturday and at the fest on Sunday.

Jackie Yaeger looks fly and festival perfect here in her hat and lace robe.

What better way to say farewell to Lollapalooza 2014 than with Britney Bitch. See you next year!!!

Lorde at Lollapalooza 2014

Goth princess Lorde played Lollapalooza this weekend (and insert a million superaltives here) she was freaking amazing. She wore Balenciaga and as these photos illustrate looked like an all around bad ass.

Scott Drasler, my amazingly talented husband took these photos, thanks boo!

Mia Moretti x Mac Cosmetics

I had the great fortune of being invited to a fabulous dinner party thrown by M·A·C Cosmetics at Fulton Market Kitchen along with a select group of people (including some AMAZING muscians like War Paint, Wild Belle and Francisca Valenzuela). The party was to celebrate three separate lines curated by the stylish DJ and It-Girl Mia Moretti that coincide with Lollapalooza, South by Southwest and Coachella and will include a variety of her all-time favorite M·A·C products perfect for each festival along with original shades and accessories timed with Coachella.

At the event, Cleo Wade, a mega-babe in Mia's entrourage, made individual poems for each guest using a pink typewriter and artist Blue Logan painted a scene of the party throughout the evening on a photo wall.

How cute are Francisca Valenzuela and Jenny Lee Lindberg from War Paint??!!

Guests also had the chance to draw their own art on the paper tablecloths at each table using crayons. Which of course I did, oh also a Jonas brother was there :)

Thanks for an amazing evening M.A.C. Can't wait to see the collection when it's unveiled at Coachella.
