Happiness by Lanvin

This Lanvin Happy necklace paired with the cheerful yellow ensemble is making my millennium.

This image kind of sums up the mania and joy that is fashion month.

Style Profile - Mira Duma

Street style favorite Mira Duma looked lovely in these two ensembles during New York fashion week. Not only is she amazingly stylish and blessed with a bottomless clothing allowance but she is also sweet and gracious and is a pleasure to photograph.

Four Eyes

WOWZA. This guy has style for miles. So digging his round clip-on sunglasses. Spotted outside Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week.

Ostrich Feather Skirt - New York Fashion Week

Glorious feather skirt spotted at New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 outside of Proenza Schouler.

Braids from New York Fashion Week

All the fashion peeps may have long since moved on to Milan but I have so many great images from New York Fashion Week, it would be a shame not to post. Like all these great braids I saw on the streets...

This messy fish tail braid is gorgeous.

I caught this model off duty with a nice neat crown braid fresh from the runway.

More of a twist than a braid, but I am loving this ladies double crown do.

Photographers - New York Fashion Week

Sometimes the street style photographers outside of fashion week are just as stylish (if not more so) than the people they are shooting.

Perfect 10 - New York Fashion Week

Love this little cropped jean jacket paired with the full flowing white skirt I spotted at New York Fashion Week. Très Chic!

Gold Galdiator Boots - New York Fashion Week

These gold gladiator boots DEFINITELY win the title for   best footwear worn at New York Fashion Week Spring 2014. And who you might be asking is wearing this amazingness, Anna Dello Russo (of course!) on her way to the Ralph Lauren show at the end of the week.

White After Labor Day - New York Fashion Week

All white ensembles were THE THING at New York Fashion week this year.

Susie Lau of the super popular blog Style Bubble looks cult chic in this flowey white dress but keeps it on the fun tip with her rad bunny ear baseball cap.

Lovely Karen Blanchard of Where Did You Get That looks majorly cute in this super short boxy mini dress red boots and patriotic straw hat.

Fellow street style photographer Candice Lake looks positively angelic in this diaphanous number (I'm so proud of myself for using that word in a sentence :)

Anna Wintour - New York Fashion Wek

Turns out shooting street style while pregnant is harder than I expected. PS I'm totally knocked up (How's that a way to announce it ;) Especially when the temperatures get up into the 90s as was the case outside of the Proenza Schouler show last week. Not wanting to miss anything amazing but unable to stand any longer I popped a squat on the sidewalk and shot from the ground. Then Anna Wintour walked right by me and I didn't feel so lazy after all :)

New York Fashion Week Details - Purses

Shooting street style at New York Fashion week is literally like shooting fish in a barrel. Everyone trots out their coolest bits and bops and it's all for the snapping. Here's a little collection of great purses and handbags I captured yesterday.

This YSL gold tassle mini handbag is EVERYTHING.

Love this oversized ode to flava flav clock handbag.

I love this adorable muppet style yellow fur puffball handag.

And finally we have this amazing green lego Chanel clutch. Oh how I would love one of these babies.

New York Fashion Week 2013

I'm heading to New York Fashion Week to capture the best street style outside the show. Better late than never right?!  Be on the lookout for photos throughout the week!

Loufest Best of the Fest Style

This weekend I was in St. Louis for Loufest scouting style for Alive Magazine with Lindsay Pattan of Heartland Underdog and delightful fashion editor Samantha Chadwick. Here are some of my favorite photos from the weekend.

How cool do brother and sister duo Elliot and Natalie Bergman of Wild Belle look here?! Answer VERY. They rocked Loufest on Saturday night and were nice enough to pose for a photo or two for me earlier in the day.

DJ Brittany Bowers looks impossibly cool here in her one earring and cat fan.
Total babe Samantha Chadwick looks fly here in here tennis skirt and ying yang t-shirt. Tres 90s!
Be on the look out for the announcement of the winners on Alive Magazine.

Sean Krista

I know I say this a lot on this blog, but here it is again... HOW AMAZING IS THIS OUTFIT??!?! In addition to clearly slaying it here Sean Krista is the founder of the cool shopping tour company Shop Around Chicago If you're new to the area or just want an inside scoop on where to get the latest and greatest fashion finds definitely sign up for a neighborhood shopping tour.

Sean's WTF clutch will certainly make you think, "WTF why don't I own this thing?"
Get the bag and dress at Space 519 at the 900 shops on Michigan Avenue.

Jessica Murnane

Jessica Murnane is the creator of One Part Plantan excellent blog full of inspiring plant based recipes and other fun stuff (like this great review of The Mall of America AND The Walker Art Center in one post). Another cool thing they do is partner with restaurants and hotels to get them to feature more plant based food on their menus.

So you may be asking, Does Jessica walk around looking this amazing all the time. Well the answer is pretty much yes (at least the times that I run into her) however this day she was looking a lil' extra fly thanks to the Phillip Lim for Target photo shoot.

Festival Style at Loufest

Meet me in St. Louis, because next weekend I'll be hanging at Loufest, the cities biggest music festival. With a hot lineup including the Killers, The National, Wild Belle, Icona Pop, Local Natives and many more.  I'm proud to be hosting a festival wear contest alongside the delightful Lindsday Pattan of Heartland Underdog presented by ALIVE Magazine. To give you some inspiration I present to you some of my favorite festival looks from the past summer.

Wear that weird accessory that you have never worn before.

We love beards (and patchwork)!

Wear all your patterned clothes at once.

Bust out those Adidas Sandals you've been hiding for the past decade because they're back!

Modify an old prom dress like Meagan of the rad blog Latterstyle did at The Pitchfork Music Festival.

Go old school 90's grunge and DEFINITELY dye your hair lavendar :)

Wear a hat and man jewelry.

Say yes to a fannypack.

Also, we adore animal patterns.

Loufest is next weekend (September 7-8) at beautiful Forest Park in St. Louis Check out the complete Loufest lineup and get your tickets now!
